Srinagar, Apr 03: Ahead of another spell of wet weather from Sunday onwards, the maximum temperature remained above normal as bright sunshine greeted people in the summer capital, Srinagar, and other parts of Kashmir valley on Saturday.
However, the mercury during the night dipped further and settled several degrees below normal in the valley, where the night temperature at world famous ski resort of Gulmarg, tourist resort of Pahalgam and Kupwara in north Kashmir settled below freezing point.
