When J&K would move ahead then the country would establish new records of progress; J&K administration is continuously working for the empowerment of women: LG
Srinagar, 26 September: Lieutenant Governor J&K Manoj Sinha on Sunday during an Air Show along the banks of Dal Lake said that he believes J&K’s youth would play an important role in the coming 25 years for nation’s building.
LG during his speech, which was predominantly focused towards the youth and their importance in nation building, reiterated the need for working towards the development of J&K and the rest of the country.
LG said that on the guidance of PM Narendra Modi the country is working upon things, which would establish India’s knowledge and economic edifice.
While steering his speech towards the students during the event, LG said that “the power and strength you are possessed with should be used to face the future challenges and for the fulfilling of moral instructions.”
On the occasion, LG requested the teachers that besides the education, there is a need of keeping children abreast of economic and technological changes so that they could contribute to the construction of New India.
“When J&K would move ahead then the country would establish new records of progress,” said LG.
He also said the J&K administration is continuously working for the empowerment of women. “In the reconstruction of J&K and the rest of the country, there can be an important contribution of women,” said LG, adding that attempts are being made for every kind of assistance to be provided to the women of J&K.
On the occasion, LG also invoked the names of girls from Kashmir who are taking part in aviation and Air Force. “The Air Force is ready to realise the dreams of girls and youth and I want on this occasion that all of you determine yourself towards the nation’s service,” said LG Sinha.
Talking about the successful candidates, who passed the UPSC exams, LG said that they would inspire the rest of J&K’s youth. He also hoped for the fulfillment of their coveted dreams.
